Milestone: First full-automatic machine leaves factory

Today the first full-automatic Evodos SPT-separator has left the factory. This is an important milestone for the young and promising Evodos company. This machine will be deployed by a multinational - name still under disclosure - in the food- and beveragesindustry. The application is the clarification of products in several stages of their production process. For more information on this full-automatic machine, please continue reading.

When compared to the first generation, the most important changes to this new generation Evodos SPT-machines are:

Full-automatic
The machine is full-automatic. It runs without operator assistance. With various sensor systems and a datalink, the machine can be monitored and adjusted from a remote control room.

Further improved separation sharpness
For both the new SPT225 and SPT325 (2- en 3-phase separation) the separation shaprness is improved. The time a particle remains in the machine during the separation process has doubled. On top of this the travel distance is reduced (in other words: the number of vanes has increased). This allows for a larger field of applications in the range of one to several microns.

Ready to use in the food- and beverages industry
The new generation SPT-machines can come with an integrated Cleaning in Place unit. This is also the case for the machine which is now being deployed in the food- and beverages industry.

Very high finishing level
The finishing level has been brought to a very high level. Quality for everything. This is in both the parts we construct ourselves as well as in the components we buy. As an example for this last category: Newest Siemens PLC technique, SEW engines, Danfoss frequency convertors, etcetera.

Evodos mission statement

The organisation as well as the customers base of Evodos is growing. With more stakeholders it becomes more important to give good guidance on the direction and values of Evodos. You can find this in the newly developed mission statement:

Mission:
Evodos serves its customers with mechanical separation of liquids and particles, at a minimal energy consumption, in a sustainainable way without using chemicals, in order to achieve re-use or winning of raw materials.

Hen Boele, technical director:
"The foundation for our products is a completely mechanical separation process. We do not have and do not want to use chemicals to achieve a high separation sharpness. For our customers this means a huge improvement to the reusability of their raw materials and an elimination of the costs to purchase these chemicals. We actually hit two birds with one stone: We not only add to nature by increased sustainability, but also free up real money for our customers".

Marco Brocken, managing director:
"Our mission shows that our activities are geared towards serving our customers. Wherever in the world. Customer demands give guidance to the development of our producs. As an example, a low energy usage is of the wishes which we have realised. It also explains our  choice for delivering an A-quality product. The Evodos machines will often operate in the primary process of our customers. Therefore reliability is key".
