Various Evodos SPT separators

Evodos SPT separators come in various layouts:

- Two phase separator (liquid/solid separator)
- Three phase separator (liquid/liquid/solid separator)
- Atmospheric or pressurized rotor
- Fully automatic or touch-screen controlled operation.
- Single rotor or multi-rotor layout.

Two or three phase separator:

- Two phase separators remove solids or sludges from a mixture in a batch process. The feed flow is pumped with a frequency-controlled mono-pump into the Evodos SPT.  The processed liquid phase is pressure discharged, the collected cake may be discharged in a bin, a big-bag or on a conveyor.

- Three phase separators separate a liquid mixture in two liquids (for instance oil and water) and remove solids or sludges from the mixture in a batch process.  The feed flow is pumped with a frequency-controlled mono-pump into the Evodos SPT where both liquids are pressure discharged separately. The collected cake may be discharged in a bin, a big-bag or on a conveyor.

Batch process:

As mentioned above, the collected cake is discharged batch-wise. The maximum volume of collected cake per batch is fixed by the dimensioning of the Evodos SPT. The number of cake-discharge cycles per hour affects the operational time of the feed pump.
The graph below presents the relation between effective feed pump capacity and compressed cake volume in the feed flow.

Flow range:
Evodos separators do come in a range of 2 till 50 m3/ hour. The smallest machines (2 till 3.5 m3/hour) are stand alone machines. Up to a flow of 9 m3/hour these machines are identical stand-alone machines, but now controlled in a master slave function. Machines with a larger flow capacity do come as designated multi-rotor machines and are built in sea-containers, up to 40 feet.
